Nancy Bailey
NANCY DIXON BAILEY, 81, passed away in Abilene, February 23, 2023. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are being handled by Adams-Graham Funeral Home. Born December 30, 1941, Nancy was born in Anson, to Mary June (Wheeler) and Jesse Dixon of the Oak Grove Community, 5 miles southeast of Anson, Texas Nancy was a rock of stability, love and understanding for her family. She selflessly devoted her life to assisting people in need. Nancy volunteered countless hours advocating for the needs of mental health at the local, state, and national level. Family, friends, neighbors, community members, and many who will never know her name were blessed by an unwavering focus on the needs of others. Nancy was a devoted Christian led by an untiring desire to help. When God called her name and gates opened early Thursday morning to receive Nancy Dixon Bailey, I’m sure she heard these words “ Well done, my good and faithful servant”. “I was blessed most of all because Nancy loved me, and I loved her for 63 years – Ron.” Nancy is survived by husband, Ronny Bailey, their three boys, Ron Paul, Dixon, and Stephen Bailey. Nancy was the proud grandmother of Kyrah, Tyler, Vanalice, Jessie and Landon Bailey, and one great grandson, Kyson Williams; and her brother, Robert Dixon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you do something nice for an organization, person, or family member you care about.
